General Information
Applied Spine Technologies (AST), Inc. has developed a novel dynamic stabilization system, marketed under the Stabilimax brand that leverages the 30-plus years of spine biomechanical experience and concepts developed by Dr. Manohar Panjabi, our Scientific Founder from Yale University. The Stabilimax NZ® system was developed to work in concert with the spine’s natural biomechanics resulting in a stabilization device that will address the patient’s pain while allowing normal physiological motion. AST has performed extensive lab testing as well as numerous cadaveric and animal studies to validate the device, and we are now well into our pivotal IDE trial.
