AsymmetRx, Inc. is a drug discovery company with discoveries in the areas of depression, blindness and cancer. Its founders include scientists from Harvard University School of Medicine (Frank McKeon, Ph.D.) and Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine (Jun Liu, Ph.D.). The company has exclusive rights to patents relating to drug compounds from Harvard and Johns Hopkins. The company has also received 510(k) clearance from the FDA for a prostate cancer diagnostic test "Prostate-63 Cander Diagnostic Test" which is being used extensively in the diagnostic market. AsymmetRx, Inc. has the exclusive rights from Harvard for the p63 gene and antibodies to it for cancer diagnostics (prostate, breast, etc.).
